Boca Raton Woman Charged With DUI During Trick-Or-Treat

Boca Raton resident Annlyn Riggs of Tudor Drive has been charged with Driving Under the Influence (DUI), DUI damage property, and hit and run — leaving the scene of an accident. She was arrested by FHP while drinking and driving and was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail before being released a few hours later. The worst part about this particular DUI? It occurred during peak trick-or-treating time on Halloween night, as nearly all of the area’s young children went out in costume and walked from house to house in our neighborhoods. Although it appears as though Riggs caused only minor damage and police were able to apprehend her before she went too much further, we shudder to think at the damage that could have been done as a result of her irresponsible behavior.
