Women who use talcum powder as a feminine hygiene product around their genitals have a 33 percent higher risk of developing ovarian cancer. The study interviewed 2,041 women with ovarian cancer and 2,100 women without ovarian cancer to ask about their use of talcum powder and products containing talcum powder.
