What are the Common Injuries in a Motor Vehicle Accident?

While some motor vehicle accidents may only involve property damage, most accidents involve some degree of bodily injury. The injuries you sustain in a motor vehicle accident can vary greatly depending on several factors such as were you riding a motorcycle; did a semi-truck cause the accident; and, how fast were the cars traveling the time of the crash.

Regardless of the severity of your injuries, you should always seek medical attention following a motor vehicle accident. Some injuries (i.e. closed head injury) may not be easily identified immediately following an accident. Even if you do not need emergency medical attention, it is always in your best interest to follow up with your primary care physician after being involved in a car crash. […]

What Can A Boca Raton Personal Injury Attorney Do To Help Me?

An insurance adjuster will tell you that a personal injury attorney cannot do anything that you cannot do yourself to settle your accident claim. Some adjusters may go as far as to tell you that a personal injury attorney will only charge a high fee for doing the same work so that you receive less money for your accident claim.

What you must remember is that the insurance adjuster is not looking out for your best interest. The insurance adjuster’s job is to pay you as little as possible to settle your accident claim. Insurance companies are in business to make money; therefore, paying you for your accident claim is not in the insurance company’s best interest. The adjuster works for the insurance company — the adjuster does not work for you. […]
